(ADHD) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common condition in both children and adults and affects the ability to pay attention, focus and control impulses. It can also affect movement, for example being unable to sit still in class.
There are three different types of ADHD:
Inattentive type, hyperactive/impulsive type or combined type.
People with ADHD may have a limited attention span, make careless mistakes due to not paying close attention, have difficulties following instructions and organising things, may find it very hard to focus, be easily distracted and lose things, and find it very difficult to complete a task from start to finish. They may fidget a lot and seem to have boundless amounts of energy.
