We are delighted to announce that we will have a very special guest attending our Open Day on 10 November 2018. An international celebrity, no less!
He will be doing the honours and cutting the ribbon at 12.30pm and afterwards will be in the studio grotto to meet the children and give them a free gift. You may, if you wish, make a donation to the Cornwall Branch of the National Autistic Society.
If your child would prefer not to speak to Santa directly, this is perfectly ok and they will still receive a gift:
From 10.00am until 12.00pm our Open Day will be adults only. This gives our special guest time to get here safely from the North Pole:-)
Please note our Open Day is aimed at children with Special Educational Needs, and their parents/carers, along with associated professionals, so they can come and see the studio and learn about what we do. We are all about Building Life Skills Through Art. Our focus is on reading and writing.
We will be working with children with Autism, Dyspraxia, Fine Motor difficulties and other challenges, through developmental and sensory arts and crafts.
We will also be working with adults with, or at risk of, Dementia.
You can find us at:
8 West Stables
Parking is available in the new Pay and Display car park opposite Asda and there is a drop off point at Foundry Farm for those with impaired mobility.
We have a disabled toilet and we are working on getting a Changing Places facility installed close by, although this is not yet available.
We recommend you wear trainers or other soft-soled shoes as we have a wooden floor.
Please come along and support us
– we are a brand new business and we look forward to helping as many as possible.
