Des looks after the technology and social media whilst also working full time elsewhere.
As the parents of a dyspraxic child with sensory processing difficulties, we are able to provide complete empathy and understanding to our clients as we, too, tread a similar path to our client parents.
Some of these children find it very hard to focus, and are easily overwhelmed. The low-key and calm environment we are providing, along with props such as a safe space, gym ball, therabands etc means that we can use sensory techniques to help them concentrate and make progress. Arts and crafts can be a fun activity when delivered in the right way for the individual, which makes the children more likely to engage.
We are looking forward to working with a variety of people, children and adults, including those with neurological diversities such as Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia and others. We are keen to work on building fine motor skills, mental wellbeing and self esteem as well as reducing anxieties and worries.
